Article 1 – Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all sales of watches and straps (standard and bespoke) made by Sartory-Billard SARL via its website or direct communication.

Article 2 – Products

Products offered by Sartory-Billard fall into two categories:

  • Standard products: watches or straps sold as presented, without modification
  • Bespoke or customized products: any product modified or created at the client’s request (including but not limited to dial, hands, case, engraving, strap, or aesthetic configuration)

A product is considered customized as soon as any element has been altered at the client’s request, even partially.

Article 3 – Prices

Prices are indicated in euros (€), excluding VAT, GST, and import duties, unless otherwise stated.

For deliveries outside the European Union, customers act as importers and are fully responsible for:

  • customs declarations
  • payment of local taxes, duties, and import charges

Sartory-Billard reserves the right to modify prices at any time. Products are invoiced at the price in force at the time of order confirmation.

Article 4 – Orders

Orders may be placed via www.sartory-billard.com or through direct communication.

Order confirmation constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

Sartory-Billard reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of:

  • payment issues
  • supply constraints
  • abnormal or bad faith requests

Article 5 – Payment

Payment terms are as follows:

  • Standard products: full payment at order
  • Bespoke products: payment may be split (e.g., deposit + balance)

For bespoke orders:

  • a deposit confirms the order and triggers production
  • this deposit is non-refundable, as it covers design work, resource allocation, and production initiation

Article 6 – Design Validation (Bespoke)

For bespoke projects:

  • A design proposal is submitted to the client
  • Production begins only after explicit validation by the client

Once validated, the design is considered final and production may begin. No cancellation or refund is possible on the basis of design choices approved by the client. This provision does not affect the customer’s statutory rights regarding conformity defects, hidden defects, or warranty claims.

The client acknowledges that the final product is based on approved designs and may include minor variations inherent to artisanal production.

Article 7 – Right of Withdrawal for European customers

This right of withdrawal applies exclusively to consumers located within the European Union and to products eligible for the statutory right of withdrawal under applicable European consumer protection laws.

The customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, without providing any reason.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of Sartory-Billard receiving the returned product.

Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of manufacturing defects or product non-conformity.

Bespoke and Customized Products

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to bespoke, made-to-order, or customized products manufactured according to the customer's specifications.

Article 8 – Returns

Returned products must:

  • be unused
  • be in original condition
  • include all packaging, accessories, and documentation

Returns must be shipped via a tracked service (DHL, FedEx, UPS).

These timelines are indicative and may vary.

In case of significant delay, Sartory-Billard will inform the client.

This warranty does not affect statutory consumer rights.
