Precision in Purpose

Floating above this celestial depth is Sartory-Billard’s signature sapphire disk — a transparent architectural layer that carries the markers while preserving the purity of the dial beneath.

Measuring just 0.3 mm thick and coated with anti-reflective layers on both sides, this transparent layer creates the illusion of depth — as if the indexes were suspended above the stars.

Even-numbered markers are diamond-cut metal, polished to capture the light, while the minute track and odd-numbered indexes are pad-printed with BGW9 Super-LumiNova®, forming Sartory-Billard’s distinctive Y-shaped pattern.

Guided by Light

Each hand is a sculpture in itself — cut from metal with diamond precision and finished by hand.

The hour and minute hands are brushed and filled with BGW9 Super-LumiNova®, glowing softly in the dark.

The seconds hand, slender and perfectly balanced, ends in a polished tip that glides across the aventurine surface like a comet tracing its orbit across the night sky.

This interplay of reflection and depth makes time feel almost alive — luminous, breathing, in motion.

Sculpted Brilliance

The concave bezel of the SB04-E draws light inward, amplifying the depth of the aventurine while reducing optical thickness.

The steel case alternates between polished and brushed surfaces, its refined edges and curved lugs ensuring both visual lightness and natural comfort on the wrist.

Though standing just above 10 mm high, the balanced proportions make it appear even slimmer — the result of precise ergonomic design.

Heritage & Evolution

Each evolution of the SB04 refines its architecture. In the SB04-E, the fluting that once adorned the movement’s rotor now graces the caseback — a gesture of continuity and refinement.

Its 7 mm screw-down crown mirrors the same devotion to detail, with brushed, matte, and polished finishes.

Filled with BGW9 Super-LumiNova® and embossed with the Sartory-Billard emblem, it glows softly at night.

Water-resistant to 100 meters, the SB04-E unites elegance, precision, and durability in perfect balance.

With its drilled 20 mm curved lugs, the SB04-E fits naturally and comfortably on the wrist.

Each watch comes with an ergonomic rubber strap — soft, resilient, and ideal for daily wear — secured by a logo pin buckle.

A Sartory-Billard stainless-steel bracelet is also available as an alternative.

The Material’s Story

The aventurine used in the SB04-E is sourced and shaped in Germany, less than an hour from our workshop.

Each blank is carefully selected for its density of sparkle and deep, uniform blue before being cut, polished, and finished by hand.

Because the dial is carved from a single, solid piece of aventurine, every reflection and sparkle becomes part of a unified celestial field.

Under shifting light, the dial transforms from tranquil midnight blue to a living galaxy.

No two watches will ever reveal the same pattern.

Each one is a personal fragment of the night sky.
