The SB04-E “Small Bang” presents Raden like never before.
From the center, ultra-thin mother-of-pearl strips radiate outward in a graphic burst, evoking a cosmic explosion.
Beneath the sapphire minutes ring, tiny round mother-of-pearl particles float in suspension — fragments of the blast caught in orbit.
Raden is a centuries-old technique that requires slicing shells into hair-thin layers, cutting them by hand, and embedding them into lacquer. Each fragment is placed with tweezers, dried naturally, polished, and refined through successive stages.
The process is long and unforgiving: a single dial demands many days of patient work, where the slightest mistake can undo hours of effort.
The result is an iridescent canvas alive with shifting shades of green, violet, and blue — a chaotic explosion of light that is unique to each watch and impossible to reproduce.
